Abstract

1. Realisation of Wireless signal transmission and reception with a demonstration
Wireless communication systems are widely used to share information for anyone and anything anywhere anytime, and it covers the basic concepts of message sending and receiving in the wireless domain. The main purpose of this demonstration is to implement this phenomenon in real-time using a software-defined radio (SDR) platform and advanced instrumentation. Here the software radio provides a flexible radio architecture that allows changing the radio personality, possibly in real-time. Additionally, analyzing and storing RF signals for better understanding using an advanced spectrum analyzer will be demonstrated.

2. Visualization of Unauthorised signal presence on the GNSS receiver
GNSS systems are severely affected by unauthorized signals, where jamming and spoofing can create destruction and pose a threat to public safety. Jamming is when the GNSS signal is locally overpowered by other RF signals, while spoofing is getting the GNSS receiver to calculate the wrong location, causing the GNSS receiver to no longer function. Here, the types of jamming and their effects, as well as detection techniques for GNSS signals, will be demonstrated in real-time. Spoofing, more dangerous than jamming will be covered in detail in terms of static and dynamic modes.
